Seneca’s ‘The Shortness of Life,’ a great inspirational read

As mentioned in my previous post, I’m currently reading Seneca, the Spanish- born philosopher’s essay on “The Shortness of Life.” Although I should be finished reading the book by now, I’m taking my time with this one. It’s a great read for the month of January as many of us have made at least one of the following remarks recently: Time flies; This year has passed me by; Can’t believe it’s January already. If you have, you may find the following quote appropriate for the new year:

. . .most swift journey of life, which we make at the same pace whether waking or sleeping;those who are engrossed become aware of it only at the end.

Don’t let 2015 pass you by.
