Now that I’m a post-graduate, my room needed a makeover to reflect my new state of mind. You know the optimistic, anything’s possible, the world is yours attitude. So I said goodbye to my army green walls and the comforter my grandma gave me and splash my room with a bucket of white paint. Although I wanted to gut everything and bring a page from Ikea’s bedroom catalogue to life, my budget wouldn’t allow me to do so.
Instead, I worked with what I had by throwing a bucket of white paint on the walls and getting rid of my old headboard and mirror for my dresser.
I added a couple of fake plants to the space as to represent growth and patience. Don’t pay attention to the empty picture frames, just looking for the perfect ones!
